All attendees to Photo Safaris must be pre-registered.. Photo Safaris are limited to 35 attendees each session. Once a Photo Safari reaches capacity and the waitlist exceeds 10 individuals, a second session in the afternoon may be scheduled. If a second session becomes available you will be notified immediately, and you MUST then register and pay for the Photo Safari.
Photo Safari Itinerary

*Note: Equipment will be loaned on a first-come, first-served basis. You can try out one camera and lens and then exchange it for a second camera or lens as often as you like (based upon availability).
Representatives from each camera company, tech experts from Hunt’s Photo & Video, and in some cases, a professional photographer sponsored by the camera company will be on hand to guide you through your Photo Safari experience. In addition, there will be Essex Heritage and the host site to support the event. All staff will be on hand to work to ensure that attendees maximize their enjoyment of the Photo Safari experience.
In order to use the available equipment, you MUST have pre-registered and paid, MUST be 18 years or older and MUST leave your drivers license and a credit card with Essex Heritage at registration (in order to borrow camera equipment). The registered participant is responsible for any and all damage to the equipment.
Photo Safaris are held “Rain or Shine.”
