Andover Visitors
At the Society's Amos Blanchard House and Barn Museum, and the Caroline M. Underhill Research Library, visitors of all ages are invited to learn about Andover's rich history and culture by touring period rooms and changing exhibitions, delving into family or local history research and participating in educational programs and social activities.
In addition to guided tours of the Amos Blanchard House and Barn Museum, the Society presents a varied schedule of lectures, workshops (woodworking, decorative arts, genealogy, how to date a house, etc.), slide-tape shows, walking tours (self-guided brochures are also available), field trips and concerts throughout the year. Programs designed for school children include "Andover at Wor in the 1820s," "Know Your Neighborhood," "Mock Schoolhouse" and "Introduction to a Museum."
People of all ages and interests are welcome at the Andover Historical Society. Come and make new friends and renew old acquaintances while learning about Andover's rich history.
