- The Bartlett Museum is a repository for artifacts relating to Amesbury, Ma. and the immediate surrounding area, and is a true hidden gem of Essex County. Artifacts date from prehistory to the present. Exhibits include: a time line of events in the history of Amesbury; replicas of a colonial kitchen and a Victorian parlor; a natural history room; a schoolroom; a carriage house; and a major exhibit, which changes periodically; and a carriage house.
