The fifth annual Trails & Sails: A Weekend of Walks and Water was a great success!
Over 2800 residents and visitors enjoyed the remarkable heritage resources found throughout Essex County on September 23 & 24, 2006 when 85 sites, organizations and communities throughout the Area opened the doors to more than 150 unique and special programs free of charge!
Enthusiastic and excited participants learned something about the region, especially at the 60% new events. Event hosts were happy to see everyone who came out and the ENHC is particularly pleased and grateful for the coverage provided by local media. Thank you also to our sponsors: TD Banknorth, NorthShore 104.9, Eagle-Tribune Publishing Company and Eastern Bank. We're already looking forward to next year!
