Marblehead

This modest coastal island features a variety of marine ecosystems, including several tidal pools, a small sandy beach, a field, a salt marsh, and a wooded hilltop. From a jagged granite promontory, visitors can take in views of Fort Sewall, Gerry Island, Marblehead Light, and Marblehead Harbor.
Rockport

This National Historic Landmark off the coast of Rockport boasts twin lighthouses 45' tall. Accessible by small boats and kayaks.
Salem
- The Friendship
- The Friendship is a full-sized replica of the late 18th century East Indiaman that once sailed out of Salem. Friendship was completed and outfitted in Salem by the National Park Service staff and volunteer shipwrights, as well as staff from Dion’s Yacht Yard. In addition to the Federal funding provided by Congress, funds for construction were raised by The Salem Partnership, Inc., from city, county, state, and private sources. The replica is based on a model of the original Friendship at the Peabody Essex Museum, as well as several paintings of the ship and numerous documents, including the logs of the ship’s voyages. The Friendship is now moored in the Salem Maritime National Historic Site.

The full-scale replica of the 1812 privateer Fame sails three times daily from Pickering Wharf in Salem. Fame is also available for private charter and hosts summer camps for children.
